Hong Kong Technical Professional List – Applications Open Late June

On May 30, the Hong Kong government announced a new " Technical Professional List ", opening applications for eight professions, including nurses, IT professionals, and aircraft maintenance technicians. Eligible skilled workers aged 18 to 40 can obtain a three-year work visa, with applications officially opening in late June! The scheme will run for three years, offering 10,000 quotas in total, with a cap of 3,000 per profession.

Visa Duration & Permanent Residency Requirements

  • Can apply for an additional 36 months if the employer continues to sponsor and the requirements are met.
